Ariane Cap, Founder



I am proud to have founded Step Up Music Vallejo in 2009. We are looking back at many beautiful musical memories over the 7 years Step Up Music was active in Vallejo. From rock camps to recitals, from courses for the little ones to Jazz Jams, we sure had great times!

In 2016 I published a book (Music Theory for the Bass Player) which went on to become a frequent bestseller in its category on Amazon. I also published a course with the educational powerhouse truefire and began teaching online and traveling to do seminars in many places. This pulled me away from my local community and finally forced me to give up running Step Up Music Vallejo, my dearly beloved Music School.

I want to thank the wonderful Vallejo community who stepped up and supported us:
